To support the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT), Advance Customs Brokers is CTPAT certified. Our certification requires that we conduct a comprehensive assessment of our security practices and educate and receive information from our customers and vendors to ensure they are participating in

CTPAT initiatives. It is important our clients demonstrate and acknowledge their commitment to anti-terrorism and cooperate in preventing and deterring potential risks. CTPAT also requires that we do Client Outreach and Training.  Under this requirement, we remind our customers of the critical need to have security procedures in place at the point of stuffings. FSMA/FSVP (Foreign Supplier Verification Programs)

Advance Customs Brokers can provide guidance and direction on how your company can meet the FSVP requirements mandated by the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). A central tenet of FSMA is that the same preventive food safety standards apply to food consumed in the U.S., regardless of where the food is produced. Thus, FSVP requires importers to verify that their foreign suppliers of food for human and animal consumption meet applicable FDA safety standards. More specifically, FSVP requires importers verify that their suppliers are producing food using processes and procedures offering the same level of public health protection as the Preventive Controls (PC) requirements, current Good Manufacturing Practices for human food and animal food and Produce Safety FSMA rules, and that the food is not adulterated and is properly labeled with respect to allergens.
